Violence Kills the Beast

When the world decides to kick you down,
What is one to do?
You cannot kick it back,
You cannot mock its reason,
All you can do is pick yourself up
Even if it is the first of many,
Or the last of hundreds.
You have to think of a way to continue.
For it is your reason and your way.

Lovely girl,
Though you have been knocked down,
There is no longer a place to go than up.
Keep a heart,
Keep your head.
