There’s all alone again
There searching for something
They wake up in the night
Screaming for their rights
They’ll stay up through the night
Wondering
If it’s even worth their time
Wake them up and bring them to the light
Let them know, it was worth the fight
Let them hope and let them pray
But help them forget the next day
She’s just a little girl
She got no one to save her from the world
And he is just a little boy
No more than 5 years he’s been born
But they pushed through this fight
The fight for their rights
Their masking all their pain
Off to another place again
This is yet another fight
To help them keep their fucking rights!
Wake them up and bring them to the light
Let them know, it was worth the fight
Let them hope and let them pray
But help them forget the next day
Their only little kids
But they got guts much more then this
I’ve seen some bullshit fights
For these kids to lose their rights
But you know what fuck you all!
These are the kids that I adore
Wake them up and bring them to the light
Let them know, it was worth the fight
Let them hope and let them pray
But help them forget the next day
And they are pushing through
Even though you got barriers around you
They got the same rights
And I’m going to help them through this fight
Wake them up and bring them to the light
Let them know, it was worth the fight
Let them hope and let them pray
But help them forget the next day
